Sharon Engineering provides MEP design services for buildings, and specialty structures.  The services provided include new construction as well as renovation and restoration of existing buildings and other structures. We prepare MEP drawings and specifications as required for new construction or for renovation and restoration of existing buildings.

Our MEP engineering services include:

  • Review of architectural plans for new building proposal. Propose new mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems that will best fit the proposed program.
  • ‍Coordinate our design with architect for optimal solution.
  • For renovation projects, review of existing drawings, reports and other pertinent data relative to existing construction. Conduct site inspections to affirm required data.
  • ‍Design and detailing of MEP for proposed buildings.
  • ‍Provide Construction Administration services which include: review of shop drawings and contractor submittals for systems and components designed and detailed by us, conduct site visits and/or attend job meetings during construction, modify plans to reflect field conditions, and

Structural Services

Sharon Engineering provides structural design services for buildings, and specialty structures. The services provided include new construction as well as renovation and restoration of existing buildings and other structures.

We prepare structural drawings and specifications as required for new construction or for renovation and restoration of existing buildings.

The structural services are performed for the structural portions of any required work.

Our structural engineering services include:

  • Review of architectural plans for new building proposal. Propose new structural systems that will best fit the proposed program.
  • Coordinate structural design with architect for optimal solution.
  • Visit site to observe conditions. Specify locations for exploratory probes/test-pits to expose certain areas of existing structures that may be impacted, if required.
  • Review possible impact on any existing structure of new loadings by proposed building.
  • For renovation projects, review of existing drawings, reports and other pertinent data relative to existing construction. Conduct probes to affirm required data.
  • Design and detailing of foundations and superstructures for any proposed building.
  • Production of structural construction drawings and specifications for the systems and components designed.
  • Design and specify support of excavation of areas immediately affected by the proposed excavation.
  • Provide Construction Administration services which include: review of shop drawings and contractor submittals for systems and components designed and detailed by us, conduct site visits and/or attend job meetings during construction, modify plans to reflect field conditions, and
  • Issue amplifying details to clarify construction related issues.
